Spiti Frozen Waterfall Ice Climbing Expedition Volume 1.0 is the first expedition that is organized by TAKE ME TO HIMALAYAS. Although this being the first season, all our instructors are highly qualified professionals from various mountaineering institutes and are members of the Indian Mountaineering Federation. Ice Climbing is one of the most demanding – and dangerous – of all climbing disciplines, one must be strong enough to tackle the bone-chilling cold in the Spiti region of the Himalayas. Having the right gear is essential and one must stay warm as its the first battle of ice climbing.
“I’ve been living Spiti for two years. When it comes to the cold, This middle land turns out to be a white wonderland when it snows yet harsh. Climbing in a frozen waterfall and keeping ourselves warm in this harsh cold is going to be real fun along with the local Spitian cuisine. We On The Rock Climbers is a small community that is passionate also experienced climbers promoting climbing in various regions of India. Will be sharing my personal experiences further._/\_ ” – Kamal Dev(K.D.)
